Unit 4: Ancient China
Pretend that you are a merchant traveling the Silk Road in northern China during the Han dynasty. Along the way, you meet many interesting people and trade for goods from around the world. Write the story of your adventures in a narrative to share with generations of people to come. Your narrative should clearly address this question: What was life like along the Silk Road? The story should be at least two typed pages in length and include the following elements:
a description of the setting (northern China)
a description of the characters using sensory detail
dialogue
at least three visuals to illustrate your narrative
at least 15 words from the Word Bank below
proper grammar and spelling
